Although we live in an apartment, one of the advantages we have about our location is our access to the beautiful Columbus Park. Each of our children adored it as toddlers and have still enjoyed the courts and sprinklers as they got older. Valentina is finally getting to enjoy it pretty independently.

And all three Vielo-Gonzalez children also enjoy the swings. I would say Mateo was the most obsessed and would fall asleep in the swing because he never wanted to leave it. Valentina seems to crave the more forceful pushes.
So remember that beautiful cake we had ready for Lucia's birthday yesterday? Well it was too late and she was too full of tea treats to eat it, so we put it off until today where we could dig in and sing Happy Birthday.
