M&L Entertain Traveling Teddy

So in Mateo's class they have a teddy bear that goes home with the kids during the weekend. This weekend was Mateo's turn to bring Traveling Teddy home. I think he (Teddy) had a lot of fun with our family.

M&L Hang with Lucas & Alma

Mateo and Lucia have found the perfect pair of siblings to keep them both equally entertained. Mateo's BFF at school is Lucas (yes that's right he has found another Luca(s), there must be something that draws him to this name). Lucia is excited to be playing with Lucas' little sis, 16 month old Alma.

Mateo is a Writer

Since Preschool officially started and Mateo is learning more academic activities, we thought it would be a good idea to have him start doing a little "homework." Nothing really assigned from school, but activities he can do to help him develop certain skills that he will definitely need by kindergarten. At first he resisted, but now he is really into it.

M&L Get the Band Together

Go to the gym, go to school, go to the park. What else is there to do for a bunch of hipster children in Hoboken. Oh yes, of course...start a band.

Today the kids did a little test on the playground equipment. They wanted to find out if it really was what all the kids were raving about.

"Well, I found it, but how does it work?"

"Do I talk hear or listen hear?"

"No matter, at least we are in this together"

"I got it! You listen there and I push here"

Lucia Playtime at Kidville

Lucia has really been enjoying herself at Kidville. It gives her an opportunity to socialize and also work out. While, of course, looking cute.

Mateo Goes to Yo Gabba Gabba

"There's a party in my tummy....so yummy! so yummy!" If you know these lyrics you know that today was a special day. It was a day filled with Foofa and Plex and Brobee and Muno and Toodee and of course DJ Lance. That is right, today we were taking Mateo to see "Yo Gabba Gabba" Live at Radio City Music Hall. It was pretty cool for parents and kids alike. Miss Lucia stayed home for this concert, so Mateo had us all to himself.
