So today was a bit of a miserable day, but we took it in stride. In the morning as Mommy was taking a shower, Papi went outside with Mateo and Lucia. All was quiet until near the end of Mommy's shower she heard banshee-type wailing coming from Lucia. Upon further investigation, Mommy had discovered (after Papi removed the ice pack) that little Lucia had a golf ball sized bump on her forehead. "How did it get there?" one would ask. Well, apparently Mateo was carrying her and he tripped which launched her completely forward where she did a full on face plant on to the gravelly driveway. "Why was Mateo carrying her?" Hmmm...you'd have to ask Papi. Well the bump was too large to let go unattended so we headed to a Pediatric Emergency Medical Center near Grandma's house. We had to wait for a while given it was a Sunday and the place didn't open until 10AM. Lucia also had to get a head X-ray, but we got through it and everything was fine. She has a hard head thank God!

Later the family headed to another hospital to visit Papa Fofo and great-grandpa Papa Keke who is really ill. The kids weren't allowed in ICU, but Mommy and Papi got to see him for a little while.
