M&L Go to Hoboken Arts & Music Festival

Today was a beautiful Sunday. We started out going to soccer practice and ended going to a local street fair where they got to have fair food, yum; jump in bounce houses, fun; and play with friends, fun!

Lucia's 1st Day at 2s Program

Big month for Miss Lucia - she started soccer and she started her 2s program. I was sad to have missed the day because I was in El Paso, but I did pick out her outfit and I forced Papi to take some pictures to capture the moment.

M&L Start Soccer

Today was another major milestone for Lucia. Now she was no longer just tagging along to Mateo's soccer practice, she was actually going to her own PeeWee soccer practice. Unfortunately, Mommy was also flying out to El Paso, so I was glad to get to see it.

She was a little shy doing the runs at first so Mateo decided to give her a hand and went out and walked with her until she warmed up to the coaches...awesome Big Bro!

An hour later it was time for the expert to start practice

And of course, he did a great job

Mateo Goes to Lila's 6th Birthday Party

Today was new class kick-off of birthday parties. Now that everyone has turned 5 and school has started, Mateo has started to be invited to 6th birthday celebrations of his new classmates. Today was the first of I am sure many to come. We headed to the local park to celebrate Lila's Rock Star themed 6th birthday.

And who was a guest star at the party? POLKA DOT (local kiddie singer)

Mateo's First Day of Kindergarden

Today was the day I had been dreading/anxious about all summer. It was Mateo's 1st day of school. We picked out nice clothes the night before and made sure the teeth were brushed and hair was combed the morning of. While I was unsettled, Mateo was ready to go.

M&L Puzzle Time

It is always a pleasure for me to see the kids working together as a team.

And I was delighted to see Mateo helping Lucia figure out this number puzzle
