M&L at OXO Ski Trip - Day 3

Today was the last day of our fun trip to Okemo. We packed up all of the families' belongings and headed back to New Jersey.

Lucia, Amelia and Oona had a great time and were happy to share their morning together

The older bros - Mateo and Shay were also getting in some last minute game playing before we all left. All and all one of the best Okemo trips we have had.

M&L OXO Ski Trip - Day 2

Today was our first (and only) full day at Okemo. It was very exciting because Lucia would get to go skiing for the first time and Mateo would get to take lessons on the bigger mountain instead of the mini bunny hill as he did in the years past.

I thought I was slick taking pictures of her from afar, but it looks like she caught me...

...And then caught me again

I didn't get to take as many of Mateo because they went up on the mountain, but here he is all dressed up and ready to go

Lucia and Amelia look like real pros in their ski gear

But they focused a lot on socializing and less on the serious business of skiing

As you can see, it was a vey tiring day for Miss Lucia. She slept through the entire company dinner.

Later, the kids through a Hot Chocolate party and watched Frozen...which is of course when Miss Lucia decided to wake up

Most of the kids were mesmerized by either the movie or their ipads

After a full day, we tucked the kids in for bedtime.

M&L Go on Annual OXO Ski Trip - Day 1

Well today was an exciting day because it was the day the family drove up to Okemo to kick-off our participation in the OXO Annual ski trip. The kids love it because they get to sleep in a "cabin" with buddies they rarely get to see and they get to go to ski school.

Mateo and Shay were happy to see each other and played board games and video games all evening

Lucia enjoyed doing crafts with Shay's little sister Oona

And also got to enjoy some time with neighborhood pal and fellow OXO tot, Amelia

M&L Have a Happy Valentine's Day

Today is Valentine's Day and unfortunately although the kids were really excited to celebrate with their classmates at school...it was also a snow day! Normally this is music to their ears, but this is the 3rd or 4th snow day of the season and they were actually looking forward to exchanging cards and goodies with their friends, but all was not lost. They did get to have a mini at-home party.

Little Miss Lucia dressed the part in her heart-speckled shirt and red corduroy dress.

Later, their BFFs Lucas and Alma, came over to have heart-shaped doughnut treats and also exchanged V-day cards and gifts. All and all not a terrible day.

M&L Karate Together

Today we gave karate another try with Lucia, but this time we were bringing along a secret weapon for inspiration... Big Brother Mateo!

The kids are ready and dressed for Core

As you can see Miss Lucia had no problem keeping up with Mateo's moves

And this time there was no fussing over non-pink gloves    

"That's how we do it!"

Lucia Takes her First Karate Class

Today, was a very exciting day for Miss Lucia or at least it started that way. She has been wanting to take karate for a long time because of all of the exposure she has gotten watching her brother. One thing we did learn is although she wants to be tough...she wants to do it in style.

But once she discovered that some girls had pink gloves and there were none left for her...well her attitude took a turn. You can see she is obstinately lack luster.

M&L Make Homemade Pizza

Today Navita had the ingenious idea of having the kids make their own meals and staged it as a "fun" activity so they didn't even know they were working. She propped them up and they made mini pizzas.
