Yippee! Today we are headed to Miami to kick off our Easter weekend. Unlike most times, we actually weren't on an incredibly early morning flight which meant Mateo could go to school in the morning and we could run some last minute errands before heading off. By midday we were on our way.
Lucia was mesmerized with the airplanes
The kids were not only excited to see Grandma, but also very excited to see that the pool was back in action.
Mateo dove right in
Lucia also had a splash taking a dip with Papi
And later cruised around on this float
Of course Miss Lucia also wanted to have some time on the float
Although it was quite chilly, the kids stayed in until their teeth were chattering and their lips almost blue. Grandma was there to the rescue with nice warm towels.
Later Lucia found a helmet which was especially for her. The perfect outfit - tankini and helmet.
And Lucia also discovered her brother's old scooter which meant Mateo (with helmet) graduated to Mommy's old skateboard
And they are ready to ride!
