Today was the 3rd,4th and 5th Grade Spring Concert at the kids school. Last year Mateo performed in it and this year he made another appearance. He doesn't really enjoy singing in public, but he was very proud to play the Orf since that is really the only thing they are allowed to play in this grade.

Preparing to sing "Paddy Works on the Railway"
After singing the first set, Mateo goes to where he is more comfortable, behind the Orf (aka Xylophone).
After that set, for the 3rd and final set, Mateo was first chair for the Orf.
Very proud of what he has accomplished and although the music could have been a little more modern for my tastes, the kids did a great job and I am a very proud mama.
